London Gamers started as a city club for Warhammer Ancients and Fantasy, and those meet-ups are still the heart of what we do. Reviews on this site cover the sets we actually put on the table — Flames of War, Axis & Allies, Wings of War, castle terrain, and more — but club night is where lists get tested and new players find a game.
What to expect in 2026
Evenings stay informal: bring a painted force if you have one, or turn up to watch a demo. We keep a painting table available for touch-ups, and there is usually room for a pickup historical or fantasy scrap after the first games finish.
- 10 August 2026 — Club nights still rolling through summer; evenings open for pickup games and army-list chat.
- 12 March 2026 — Spring painting push before the next ancients weekend; brushes and basing kit on the side table.
